We have for many years finding homes for birds and tropical fish that need new homes, we feel there is a home somewhere for every bird or fish that comes our way. We start off by finding out why someone is giving up a bird or fish that has been part of the family, we have found that in many cases someone is at wits end with their pet due to some behavior problem that we in many cases we can help re-educate the owners and or pet so that they can stay in the home they have known for many years. If there is another reason or they just cannot keep their pet we then will evaluate each and every bird or fish that comes our way and provide needed medical treatment for both fish and birds if need. We then start looking for the perfect new home in some cases if the bird is rare or to the point it doesn't want anything to do with humans we may place the bird in a breeding situation or retirement with other birds. You will find just a few pictures of some of the birds we have worked with and will be adding more soon, we do not limit the types of birds to just larger ones we are willing to help with almost any.
If you would like to help out you can in many ways we are always needing people with fish ponds or aquariums to take larger fish, as our ponds are full at this time with unwanted fish, that we could not find homes for and did not have the aquariums large enough for at our store. after all how many people have a tank large enough to house a fish over 30 inches long? We do receive many Pacu's that large and many more Oscars over 12 inches each year. When placing birds we always make sure the bird likes and gets along with everyone who will be in contact with it and that a proper home/cage is provided as well. We take the time to make sure the new family is educated in the care, diet needs and willing to provide this.
